Turn on the Google Search Console module, then open SEO → Search Performance.
- Click Connect and sign in with the Google account that has access to your Search Console property. If the one-click connection isn’t available, choose Advanced: use my own Google Cloud project and enter your own client ID and secret.
- Choose your property.
- Data syncs once a day. Click Sync now for an immediate update.
What you get
- Clicks, impressions, average CTR and average position over 7, 28 or 90 days, compared with the period before.
- Top pages and top searches.
- Losing traffic: pages whose clicks dropped noticeably.
- Tracked keywords: follow the position of keywords you choose.
- Sitemaps in Google: sitemap status, and submission if you allowed it when connecting.
- In the editor: each page’s data and a URL Inspection button that shows how Google sees the page.
Disconnect removes access with Google. Optionally delete the stored Search Console data as well.
Privacy
The one-click connection passes sign-in tokens through WPInterface’s token service, which stores nothing. With your own Google Cloud project, the token service isn’t used. See Privacy and external services.
