My titles or descriptions don’t change.
Check the dashboard’s site checks. If the theme doesn’t let WordPress manage the title, ask the theme author to add title-tag support.
If another SEO plugin is active, output is paused. Deactivate it.
Clear your caching plugin and CDN caches.
Use the admin bar inspector to see what is printed.
The sitemap shows “page not found”.
Go to Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes to refresh the URL rules. Check that the XML Sitemaps module is on.
Search engines don’t index my site.
Make sure Settings → Reading → Discourage search engines is unchecked. The dashboard warns you about this.
An SEO page says I’m not allowed to access it.
SEO pages need the Manage SEO settings permission. Redirects need Manage redirects, and the Bulk Editor needs Edit SEO fields. See Who can do what.
Pro features don’t appear.
WPInterface SEO must be installed and active. Check that the Pro modules are on in SEO → Modules. Bulk AI also needs AI Assist.
Emails (Pro reports) don’t arrive.
WordPress sends email through your server, which often fails. Install an SMTP plugin.
What happens when I remove the plugins?
Deactivating keeps everything. Deleting removes data only when SEO → Settings → Advanced → Delete all data when the plugin is deleted is on.
