Most sites are ready in about ten minutes.
- Install and activate WPInterface SEO. A new SEO menu appears. See Requirements and installation.
- Run the setup wizard from the dashboard. It sets your site name, logo and social profiles, and imports data from your old SEO plugin.
- Deactivate your old SEO plugin, if you had one. WPInterface SEO starts printing its tags as soon as it is gone.
- Submit your sitemap,
https://your-site.com/sitemap_index.xml, in Google Search Console. See Sitemaps. - Choose a default social image under SEO → Social. See Social.
- Write titles and descriptions for your most important pages, in the editor or the Bulk Editor.
- Check the SEO dashboard now and then, and work through Next steps.
