Schema Templates and custom JSON-LD

Updated

SEO → Schema Templates adds the same structured data to many pages at once, for example Recipe markup on every post in the Recipes category.

  1. Choose a schema type (Course, Event, Product, Recipe and others) or Custom JSON-LD.
  2. Choose where it applies: content types, categories or tags (by ID), specific posts, and posts to exclude. A template needs at least one condition.
  3. Fill in the values with template variables, for example %title% or %custom_field(price)%. Use featured for the featured image.
  4. Preview the template on any post to see the exact output and whether it applies.

A page’s own structured data of the same type (in the editor’s Schema tab) replaces the template on that page.

Custom JSON-LD on one page

For one-off markup, add custom JSON-LD to a single page in the editor under SEO → More → Custom structured data. Variables work there too, and invalid JSON isn’t saved.
