Checkout with Paddle for WooCommerce

Updated

Checkout with Paddle for WooCommerce adds Paddle as a payment method in WooCommerce. Paddle is a merchant of record: it sells your products on your behalf, charges the customer, collects and pays sales tax and VAT worldwide, issues tax-compliant invoices, and handles fraud and chargebacks. You receive your earnings as payouts.

What the plugin does

  • Customers pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay (whatever your Paddle account offers) without leaving your site. The Paddle payment form appears inside your checkout page, or as a popup.
  • Orders are marked paid automatically when Paddle confirms the payment.
  • Subscriptions sold with WooCommerce Subscriptions are billed by Paddle. Renewals, failed payments, cancellations and pauses stay in sync in both directions.
  • Refunds work both ways: click Refund via Paddle on the order and the money is returned through Paddle; refund in Paddle and WooCommerce records it.
  • Customers get a link to Paddle’s invoice or receipt on the order confirmation, in My Account and in their order emails.

No products to create in Paddle

Each order is sent to Paddle with its own lines and prices, taken from WooCommerce.
