Paddle only opens its checkout on approved websites, and Paddle Billing needs a default payment link before it accepts any transaction.
- In Paddle go to Checkout → Website approval and add your domain. Live accounts are reviewed by Paddle.
- In Checkout → Checkout settings, set Default payment link to your EDD checkout page, for example
https://your-store.com/checkout/.
“Checkouts are failing”
If either setting is missing, the plugin shows a “Checkouts are failing” warning in the admin that names the missing setting. It disappears after the next successful checkout. See Checkout problems.
