EDD Software Licensing works with Paddle with nothing extra to configure.
- License keys are created when Paddle confirms the payment.
- Each subscription renewal extends the license.
- License renewals and upgrades bought at checkout are charged at the prorated price EDD calculates.
- For subscriptions, Paddle starts billing the new plan only when the current license period ends, so customers are never charged twice for the same time.
- A full refund or a chargeback revokes the license. A partial refund keeps it active.
