If a customer paid but the order is still Pending, the plugin hasn’t received or accepted Paddle’s notification.
Paddle Billing
- Check that the webhook secret for the current mode is filled in. Click Set up webhook again to be sure.
- Open the order and click Check payment with Paddle. It asks Paddle directly and completes the order if it was paid.
Paddle Classic
- Check that the public key for the current mode is complete, including the BEGIN and END lines.
Both platforms
Make sure Paddle can reach your webhook URL. It must be public HTTPS and must not be blocked by a firewall, Cloudflare bot protection, a security plugin, maintenance mode or password protection.
Cloudflare
Allow Paddle’s IP addresses, or skip the bot check for /wp-json/wpinterface-paddle/v1/webhook.
Then turn on Debug logging and look at Downloads → Tools → Debug Log for lines starting with Paddle:.
