Install the plugin like any other WordPress plugin, then connect it to Paddle.
- In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, choose the plugin .zip file, click Install Now, then Activate. If the free version is active, it is deactivated automatically (see Upgrading from the free version).
- Go to WooCommerce → Paddle and activate your license key. This is for updates and support only; every feature works without it.
- Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → Paddle and follow the setup for your account type.
- Tick Enable Paddle and click Save changes.
Paddle stays hidden until it is ready
Paddle does not appear at checkout until the credentials for the current mode (live or sandbox) are filled in and your store currency is one Paddle supports, so customers never see a half-configured payment option.
