If a customer paid but the order is still Pending payment, the plugin hasn’t received or accepted Paddle’s notification.
Paddle Billing
- Check that the webhook secret for the current mode is filled in. Click Set up webhook again to be sure.
- Open the order and click Check payment with Paddle. It asks Paddle directly and marks the order paid if Paddle has the payment.
Paddle Classic
- Check that the Public Key for the current mode is complete, including the BEGIN and END lines.
- For subscriptions, check the alerts.
Both platforms
Make sure Paddle can reach your webhook URL (https://your-store.com/wp-json/wpinterface-paddle-woo/v1/webhook). It must be public HTTPS and must not be blocked by a firewall, bot protection, a security plugin, maintenance mode or password protection.
Local sites
Local sites (such as *.local or localhost) can’t receive webhooks. To test locally, your developer can run a tunnel and point webhooks at it with the wpinterface_paddle_woo_webhook_base_url filter. See Local development and testing.
