Most problems come down to a webhook that can’t reach your site, credentials for the wrong mode, or a Paddle account setting. Start with the page that matches what you see.
Orders stay pending after payment
What to check when Paddle took the payment but the order is still Pending payment.
Checkout problems
“Checkouts are failing”, “Something went wrong starting the payment” and a missing Paddle option.
Test connection errors
What each Test connection message means and how to fix it.
Refunds, renewals and webhooks
Refunds that don’t show up, renewals that don’t arrive, and duplicate webhooks.
Turn on debug logging
Tick Debug logging in the Paddle settings, reproduce the problem, then look at WooCommerce → Status → Logs (source “wpinterface-paddle”). Problems are logged even with the setting off.
Warnings starting with “Paddle:” appear on WooCommerce screens while something needs fixing (missing credentials, wrong token prefix, no webhook secret or public key, unsupported currency, WooCommerce taxes on). Each links to the settings.
Still stuck? Copy the System info from WooCommerce → Paddle → Help & support and contact support.
